i'm a mountain bike rider, grew up in salem and now live in oakland ca. i'm heading back to salem to spend a couple weeks with the family. I went back last year with a mtb only to find out that a lot of people i knew switched to fixies, so i thought this year i'd try to meet up with some other mountain riders. haven't been on a mtb trail there in a long time. i would like to meet up with other people who would be willing to ride in the december cold. i'll be there the 21st through the 1st.
i've heard a little about the progression of the black rock trails and want to take a few runs up there but i guess any mtn riding would work for me.
a little side note: i don't drive and am in limbo as to which bike to bring with me (ss hardtail 29er/5.5" fs 1x9).
i'll be keeping a watch on this post and hope to hear from anyone interested.
